Event Name: Writers Row: Meet the Makers
Date: May 9, 2026
Set-Up: 9:00 AM
Tear-Down: 2:00 PM No early tear down. Vendors will not have access to parking for removal of displays and vendor areas until 2:00 PM
Event hours: 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Location: Russo’s Books, 1601 New Stine 93309
Parking: You may park to unload your display items, but then must immediately move your vehicle out of the lots. No lot or adjacent street parking is available during the event. Lots are available to attendees, ADA parking and access, and for vendor canopy spaces only. There is parking across New Stine near West High School or Patriots Park. Caution is urged while crossing to the event.
Limitations on Content: This is a family-friendly event. No erotica, dark material, or violent content or sales
Space information:
- Vendors must supply canopies, tables, chairs, and display items.
- Indoor space (inside Russo’s) is generally not available as it will be used for readings, crafting, and special programs
- Application can be requested by email to wokwritersrow@gmail.com
- If approved, a reply notification and contract will be supplied.
- Payment link will be sent after the contract is submitted.
- No refunds. No exceptions. Event will be held “rain or shine.”
- Electrical outlets and internet access are not available.
Spaces available:
- Paid WOK members in good standing:
- Courtyard space
- $20 for up to 6 foot table and two chairs (provided by participant) max 2 participants
- Exterior lot space
- $35 for 10’ by 10’ area (tables and chairs provided by participant) max 3 participants
- Courtyard space
- Non-WOK members
- Courtyard, $30 for up to 6 foot table, max 2 participants per table
- Exterior lot space, $50 for 10’ x 10’ parking lot canopy area, max 3 participants
- All inaugural event participants will be eligible for priority reservations at a discounted rate if a second year-end event is held
General Information:
- Bathrooms are available
- Bring your own non-alchoholic drinks. Bring snacks.
- Limited nearby fast-food (probably best to drive or walk.) Vendors with food carts OR lunch drop to the event may be available (information to follow.)
- All minors (anyone under the age of 18) must be supervised by an adult at all times and in all spaces on the premises.
- No dogs are permitted.
- Limited ADA parking for vendors may be available. Inquire before making application.
- Vendors must take their own payments. Bring change for cash sales.
- Vendors are responsible for collecting and paying any sales or other tax.
- We will do our best to promote author and vendor participation on our social media sites. Vendors are responsible for providing for our consideration usable thumbnail images, biographies, descriptions of items being sold, or other requested information when requested and in a timely manner.
