Writers of Kern Winter Dinner & Year-End Celebration will take place at Hodel’s Country Dining on Saturday, December 12th at 6 PM. The Winter Dinner is perfect for sharing time with your fellow writers. Traditionally, everyone brings a gift-wrapped book to exchange. We also celebrate members who have earned “Active” status in Writers of Kern by presenting them with an honorary pin.
Besides the great food, holiday music, and good friends, the winners of the Fall Writing Contest are announced. This year the winning writers will receive cash prizes for their efforts with the first place prize set at $200.
Dress is casual, but if you prefer a more formal or holiday attire, you’re a writer, go ahead and express yourself. You do have to be a member to attend, but members are encouraged to bring guests.
